  • The provision of personal data neither is a statutory nor a contractual requirement nor is it a requirement necessary to enter into a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. A possible consequence of failure to provide such data is that you partially or completely are not able to access the Okuvision website and therefore are not able to see its contents.
  • There is no automated decision-making or profiling referred to in Art. 22 GDPR.

2. Cookies

  • Cookies are small data packets used for identification that our webserver sends to your browser and that your computer – depending on the settings - stores and sends back to us later. So called session-cookies are deleted when the browser is closed (after the “session”).

Our website uses the analysis service Matomo (formerly known as Piwik). Matomo is an open-source-software for statistical analysis of visitor accesses. By using Matomo we can know how our website is used. Hereby we have the chance to continuously improve the quality of our website and its contents. Using Matomo we cannot relate to a specific person as your IP-address is anonymized. The information created about the use of our website is not transferred to third-parties. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is  Art. 6 par. 1 point (f) GDPR (“legitimate interests”).
